Recruiters can spot a copy-paste hotel resume in about three seconds. If your CV talks about "guests" without ever mentioning contracts, departments, or shipboard structure, it reads as if you have never researched the industry. Manning agencies want to see that you understand cruise ship life is different from land-based hospitality: shared cabins, rotating contracts, working with colleagues from over 40 nationalities, and being on duty for months without a day fully off. Mention these realities directly. A single sentence like "seeking my first 6 to 9 month cruise ship contract in guest services" tells the recruiter more than a paragraph of vague hospitality buzzwords.<\/span><\/p>\n
